Root Canal Treatment

bbb

Root canal treatment is applied to infected teeth. It can be performed for various reasons such as the progression of dental caries to the dental nerve, exposure of the dental nerve as a result of fracture, cracks in the tooth or apical infections. The aim of root canal treatment is to restore problematic teeth to their former form. Endodontic (related to the tooth’s canal) problems are usually seen in the form of pain and swelling, and a definitive diagnosis can be made by taking X-rays.

After the procedure, mild pain and sensitivity can be seen. But these complaints are usually temporary. In such cases, the best solution is to not use the tooth with root canal treatment for a few days. After a short time, it will be seen that the sensitivity of the tooth disappears. A root canal treated tooth can serve for years just like a normal tooth.
